2) Fine Art Fair Results

Hentz distributed a recap of the Fine Art Fair.

Motion: Motion to approve the Code of Conduct with changes and have several printed and posted around the building

Motion 6: Senior Citizen Library Card

New Service: Senior Citizen Library Card for patrons 60 years and older

Benefit: No late fines

Motion: Motion to approve the new Senior Citizen Library Card for patrons 60 years and older and that will have no late fines

2) Youth Department & Newspaper Shelving Changes

Implemented by L. Strandt for better security and visibility:

  • Children's magazines moved from periodical area to children's department
  • More dedicated space created for Young Adult reading materials
  • Newspapers moved to area previously occupied by children's magazines
  • Mystery books will take over where the newspapers were
3) Front Service Desk Changes

Hentz explained staff ideas about moving the desk closer to the staff hallway.

Purpose: Increase safety and security for staffing area

Next Step: Hentz will contact Library Design Associates to discuss the project

4) Parking Lot LED Lighting Project

The township is replacing all parking lot and sidewalk light fixtures with LEDs.

Motion: Motion to approve the Standard Electric quote of $4,862.00 to replace the 10 parking lot and sidewalk lights with LEDs
