Hamburg Township Library was founded in 1966 in a corner of the township office building. It later moved to a lumber yard on land donated by the Les Belcher family, where local firemen and community members donated labor and materials to build it up. The Charles Davis wing was added in 1975. The current facility was built in 2000 with resident support.
